Are you an accountant or Big 4 auditor looking to move away from month-end closes and writing technical accounting memos? Would you like to use your skills and experiences instead to help equip the accounting profession with cutting-edge AI technologies? If so, Gappify is seeking an ex-accountant turned Account Executive/Sales Representative to join our team and who can help power the profession with Alan, the first multi-functional accounting bot. The industry is experiencing rapid technological changes as we speak, and we are looking to add people to our team who are excited about helping us change the course of accounting history.

This is what you’ll do at Gappify:

Responsibilities include:

• Cultivate and utilize existing and available networks to generate business leads

• ​Deliver a branded client experience including sales demos and product training

• Act as a point of contact for customers, providing quotations, and assisting with other customer inquiries

• Own the B2B sales cycle starting from nurturing leads, negotiating and closing deals

• ​Perform account management with existing relationships in order to mine opportunities for future annuity

This is what you’ll bring to our team:

Must haves:

• ​​Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting, required

• Minimum of 3+ years of strong operational accounting experience, particularly in AP, AR or GL functions in the New York City area

• Big 4 accounting experience, required

• Desire and drive to begin and thrive in a new sales career – Sales experience a plus but not necessary

• Confidence when presenting and speaking with potential customers and partners

• Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently

• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
