Certifications Demonstrate Gappify’s Commitment to Robust Industry Security Standards for a Service Organization

SAN FRANCISCO, California (July 23, 2018) – Gappify, Inc. (“Gappify”) a leading innovative solution-provider for corporate accountants, announced today that it has received the Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 and 2 compliance certifications, an attestation standard defined by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA), reinforcing Gappify’s commitment to security best practice. As companies increasingly use outside vendors to perform activities that are core to their business operations and strategy, there is need for more trust and transparency into cloud service providers’ operations, processes, and results.

“As someone who started his career in assurance, internal control and compliance, I am extremely proud of our company completing our SOC 1 and SOC 2 without a single audit exception”.

Jotham Ty

Chief Executive Officer, Gappify

The AICPA created the SOC guidelines to provide an authoritative benchmark for service organizations to demonstrate implementation of proper control procedures and practices. Type II reports include detailed testing of the operational effectiveness of the internal controls which have been designed and implemented to meet the requirements for the security principles set forth in the Trust Services Principles and Criteria for Security. The SOC 1 and 2 Type II attestation report, issued by the Moore Group, CPA LLC, an independent CPA firm, confirms that Gappify met the Trust Services Principles standards for security, availability, processing, integrity and confidentiality.

“Despite this amazing milestone, our company will continue to remain proactive and vigilant to ensure the security and continuity of our critical customer operations.”, said Jotham Ty, Chief Executive Officer.
